Master Services Agreement (MSA) for Service Businesses
A Master Services Agreement (MSA) establishes the legal terms governing the relationship between a service provider and a client. Instead of creating a new contract for every project, the parties sign the MSA once, and each individual project is documented in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) outlining the specific services, deliverables, timeline, and fees.
This template includes both the MSA and a Statement of Work, along with a completed sample demonstrating how the documents work together in practice.
Use this template when you:
provide consulting, advisory, creative, or other professional services
work with the same client on multiple projects or engagements
want to outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees in a Statement of Work
prefer to establish one master agreement that governs future projects
What you get:
Template in .docX format (easily convert to PDF or open in Google Docs)
Sample filled out template with fake business name and owner name
Instructions on how to use the template for your business
